The Center for Literacy Development is a network of literacy leaders across the state. It was created to support professional development initiatives in schools and communities.
The Center for Literacy Development membership consists of literacy educators, supervisors and administrators. Members are
representative of school districts, including traditional public, charter,and private institutions.
Co-Directed by Lesley Morrow, PhD and Michelle Rosen, MA, the Center for Literacy Development's mission is to advance literacy learning across all content areas for elementary schools through communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity, all essential factors of teaching for the 21st century.
